Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Henri is built around a simple promise: what happens in your group stays in your group. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, how it is used, and the steps we take to keep it private.Henri is an independent hobby project run by a solo developer.

What we collect

  • Account information: the email address you sign up with and the username and optional display name you choose.
  • Content you create: the groups you make, the listings you post, and the messages you send.
  • Basic technical data: the limited logs and metadata our hosting and database providers generate to keep the service running and secure.

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or precise location, because the platform has no need for them.

How your information is used

Your information is used only to operate Henri: to sign you in, show your groups, deliver your listings and messages to the right people, and respond when you contact support. We do not use your content for advertising.

No public visibility

Henri has no public search, no directory, and no public profiles. Your groups are not indexed by search engines and are not discoverable by other users. Listings and messages are visible only to the members of the group they belong to. Access is enforced at the database level, so content cannot leak to people outside your group.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your content. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers below that are necessary to run the platform.

Service providers

Henri relies on a small number of infrastructure providers to function. Account data and content are stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider), and the application is hosted on Amazon Web Services. These providers process data on our behalf so the service can operate.

Data retention & deletion

Your content remains until you remove it or close your account. You can deactivate your account from your profile settings at any time. To permanently delete your account and associated data, contact us via the contact page; deletion requests are handled manually by the developer.

Children

Henri is not directed at children under 18, and they should not create an account. Group admins are responsible for who they invite.

Changes to this policy

As Henrievolves, this policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
